Canada is where their love of snow began, having worked in different ski resorts; snow making, zipline guiding, guest services and rentals, then visiting Bears Den, Hakuba in February '12.

After recently returning from working on a cattle station in the Cape of Queensland, they are eager to be get back to Hakuba, Japan for just one more stint away in the snow before settling back into life in their sleepy town in the South West of Western Australia.

Of their many interests, Jed is currently working through his Diploma of Photography and is an experienced snowboarder.

They look forward to assisting with all your on and off mountain requirements.

Japan is an amazing place to visit, even without the mountains! The diverse culture, incredible history and architecture, breathtaking scenery and of course the Japanese cuisine offers more than you can do in one visit.

Endless terrain of jagged peaks, epic amounts of snow, plenty of sunny days, long seasons and very few people! We hope we can share our local knowledge, good times, and your best mountain story ever.

Quote from "Snowboarding the World " 2006

"Japan is slowly but surely coming to the attention of the outside world-and for good reason.

Its mountains are big enough to offer serious free riding potential, its parks are cut to precision, its pipes are well maintained, its trees are perfectly spread out and-most importantly - from November to April it snows like nowhere else in the world.

It means there is something here for everyone. Most resorts are built to entice even the most timid of riders, with great beginner runs and well -marked trails. But for good riders the off-piste runs are easily some of the best on the planet.

When you factor in the long opening hours of most resorts (night skiing till 9pm) the clean, efficient and friendly nature of the Japanese people and the sheer cultural diversity, it's a wonder why Japan isn't the world's number one destination."
